Poodles are a high energy, extremely intelligent breed that need consistent rules and training but will reward you with incredible love and affection. They do not shed which makes them more suitable for those who have allergies to dog danger. They do however require a committment to weekly brushing and clippping at intervals of 6 weeks to maintain a healthy tangle free coat. This can involve a significant cost outlay over the life of these dogs.

What is a parti poodle?
It is a poodle that has a body coat that has a number of colours on it. Solid coloured pups can result from parti poodles. None of the pups born from parti poodles can be registered with the Australian Kennel Council as parti poodles are not recognised in the show world in Australia however they are just as healthy as those being bred by show breeders. Show breeders attempt to remove all dogs from their breeding programs that produce parti poodle puppies as they are considered mis-marked poodles. This therefore means that the genetics avaiable in show poodle lines are narrrower than those breeders who are happy to have parti coloured poodles born. Living with a parti poodle is identical to living with a poodle produced by a show breeder. Parti poodles in Australia are not common and colours such as sable phantom (Napoleon), Silver Brindle (Annabell) and sable are very rare and hard to find, but are expectionally eye catching. if you want something unique a parti poodle  is the way to go however due to the rareness of these types of colours you will pay more. It is important you check that all poodles used for breeding are screened for PRA and luxating patellas, two health issues seen in poodles.

Their colours may also change as they grow as poodles can and do have significant changes in coat colour over their life span and there are a number of colours involved in the parents of these two litters.

If you are interested in owning one of these lovely puppies please do not be offended as we will ask many questions to ensure that you are getting the right match of puppy for your circumstances as puppies are for life.

Please read the fine print before you decide to purchase one of these puppies.
Annabell and Jed are the proud parents of our only parti poodle litter for 2011
